Be part of the magic at Stars for Second Chances (SFSC), a 2-day celebrity and community event supporting Second Chance Sanctuary (SCS)! The event takes place in May 2026 at Country Heritage Park, Milton, Ontario, with setup on May 22, event days May 23–24, and teardown on May 25. Volunteers are the heartbeat of the experience and help make everything run smoothly. Join our team and help make this unforgettable event a reality! Volunteers will assist with guest services, VIP experiences, merchandising, food and beverage, stage and tech support, setup and teardown, and behind-the-scenes operations. Available Roles & Responsibilities: 1. Leadership Event Assistant – supports the Event Director directly, handles last-minute fixes, communicates with all volunteer teams 2. Guest & VIP Services VIP Check-in Staff – 2–4 per shift General Guest Check-in – 4–6 per shift Guest Assistance / Floor Guides – 4–8 per shift Autograph / Photo Line Managers – 2–4 per shift 3. Security & Privacy Support Security Assistants – 4–6 per shift Backstage / Restricted Area Monitors – 2–3 per shift 4. Stage, Tech, & Production Stage Setup Crew – 4–6 for setup, 2–3 for teardown AV / Tech Team Helpers – 2–4 per shift Event Filming / Photography Assistants – 2–3 per shift 5. Merch & Catering Merch Booth Staff – 3–5 per shift Food & Beverage Helpers – 3–6 per shift POS / Cash Assistants – 2–3 per shift 6. Networking & Experience Blue Carpet Assistants – 2–3 per shift Panel / Seminar Assistants – 2–3 per shift Awards Ceremony Assistants – 2–3 per shift 7. Setup & Teardown Heavy-Lifting / Logistics Helpers – 4–6 for setup, 4–6 for teardown Signage / Decor Crew – 2–4 for setup, 2–4 for teardown Venue Cleaning Crew – 2–4 for teardown 8. Floaters / Runners General Runners – 2–4 per shift (jump anywhere needed last-minute) Volunteers will play a crucial role in ensuring every aspect of the event runs smoothly, from setup to teardown, and help create a star-studded, high-energy experience while supporting a life-changing cause for animals. Volunteers will receive role-specific guidance before their shift, including safety protocols, event schedule, and instructions for guest services, tech, or setup duties. Online training sessions may be offered in the week leading up to the event
