Speed Skating Event Volunteers - Jan 25th, 2026 (4 hours)

We have several positions open for volunteers for this one day event. Ideal for High School Students.  Most roles are rink side in the cold part of the arena. Roles include:

1) Assistant Clerk - Help organize the skaters before the race/get them on & off the ice
2) Timers - Good for mature students, with a good voice that can focus.  Time the racers with a stop watch and call out the results.
3) Water Bucket Filler - Fill and lift 5 gallon water buckets used to keep the ice smooth.
4) Runners - Carry skaters guards, coats, etc from the race entry point to the exit point.  Or run race results for the meet coordinator.
5) Children's Center - Monitor childrens colouring area/games etc
