Art Vancouver, Western Canada’s most prestigious international art fair, is seeking Photographers and Videographers to capture the energy, creativity, and atmosphere of our 10th edition, taking place May 28–31, 2026 at the Vancouver Convention Centre West.

Art Vancouver brings together reputable galleries and artists from across Canada and around the world, offering a dynamic environment filled with installations, live moments, artist interactions, and behind-the-scenes highlights.

Role Overview
Selected photographers and videographers will document the event through high-quality visual content used for marketing, promotion, social media, archives, and future editions of Art Vancouver.

This role is ideal for creatives who enjoy capturing authentic, documentary-style moments rather than overly staged or commercial content.

Responsibilities
Photograph and/or film the art fair across multiple days

Capture key moments including:
- Art installations and gallery booths
- Artist and visitor interactions
- Crowd energy and atmosphere
- VIP events, talks, and special programming
- Behind-the-scenes moments
- Deliver edited, high-resolution photos and/or video footage
- Collaborate with the Art Vancouver marketing team on shot lists and content needs
- Meet agreed timelines for content delivery

Requirements
- Experience in event photography and/or videography
- Ability to work in fast-paced, live event environments
- Strong eye for composition, storytelling, and detail
- Proficiency with professional camera equipment
- Editing skills (Lightroom, Photoshop, Premiere Pro, Final Cut, or similar)
- Reliable, punctual, and professional
- Fluent in English
- Must be 18 years or older

- Preferred (but not required)
- Background or strong interest in art, culture, or creative events
- Experience creating content for social media (reels, short-form video)
- Familiarity with documentary-style or observational filming
